Folk Festival day two draws big crowds

SALISBURY, Md. – In Salisbury, it was all about music, food, and folk on Saturday as the second day of the National Folk Festival brought thousands of people downtown.

People from all over the country came to listen to bands, hear about their history, and enjoy all different kinds of food trucks.

Some visitors tell 47 ABC they’ve made this a tradition the last two years to come hear music they don’t typically hear.

The festival started on Friday with crowds coming in to see the shows, but Saturday definitely saw a much bigger crowd, partly because of weather.

“It’s really nice and the weather is great, it was iffy last year, but doing good now, a lot more people than last time, music is really great, it’s expanding, so I think that’s really great,” one visitor, Maggie Jones, said.

The festival ends on Sunday.
