Five touchdowns from Peace highlight of Senators shutout win

LEWES, Del. – Senior running back Javon Peace scored five touchdowns in the Dover Senators 56-0 win over Cape Henlopen Friday night at Legends Stadium.

Cape returned the opening kickoff to the Dover 48, but a first down sack by Dover’s Eric Samuels shut down any Viking scoring chance.

Following a Peace touchdown on Dover’s opening drive, Wanya Wise scooped a Cape fumble, leading to a 2-yard quarterback sneak by sophomore Jordan Moran.

Wise and Teyvion McCoy also contributed touchdowns for Dover.

The Senators (2-2) will head to Milford next Friday at 7 PM. Cape Henlopen (1-3) will welcome Delaware Military Academy next Friday at 7 PM during their Homecoming.
