Final day of Folk Festival preparations

SALISBURY, Md. – Downtown Salisbury is with stages, tents, chairs, and volunteers all working hard to make sure every last detail is set in place before the festival.

Organizers tell 47 ABC they’re watching the weather, but rain or shine, the festival will go on.

If you plan on heading down for the festival, driving and parking may be a challenge, but organizers say there are a few things you can do to make that easier.

“Plan ahead, have a plan, maybe give yourself a little extra time because there’s going to be a tad few more people downtown,” Caroline O’Hare, Local Manager, said.

The festival kicks off on Friday and will run until Sunday evening.
