Easton man charged with child pornography
EASTON, Md. – An Easton man has been charged following a months-long investigation into child pornography.
According to police, the investigation began in July after investigators received information about an internet user downloading images of child pornography online. Officials were able to identify a residence and obtained a search and seizure warrant, which was executed on Tuesday.
As a result, the resident, identified as 19-year-old Jason Mendez-Perez, was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of child pornography. Investigators say that the forensic examination of his electronic equipment is continuing, and additional charges may be coming.
