Easton football holds off Kent Island for second straight win
EASTON, Md.– Behind four total touchdowns from Ryan O’Connor, Easton held off a fourth-quarter rally from Kent Island for the 31-17 win on Friday night.
In the Warriors second straight win against the Bucs, Easton jumped out to a 21-3 win at halftime. O’Connor rushed for two scores, and found Grant Copper and Thatcher Knox to round out the scoring.
For Kent Island, Matt Burnside threw for two touchdowns, both in the second half, to Ke’Juan Johnson and Kenny Guyton.
Next up for the Warriors (2-0), is a road test in Berlin against Stephen Decatur. Kent Island (1-1) will look to bounce back against Kent County.
