Eastern Shore wood carver honored in DC
WASHINGTON, D.C. – An Eastern Shore man was recently honored in our nation’s capitol.
Rich Smoker from Marion Station was honored as part of the 2019 National Heritage Fellows by the National Endowment for the Arts. We’re told the recipients are of the nation’s highest honor.
The ceremony was held at the Library of Congress, and Smoker got the chance to show off some of his work.
