Dover Volleyball cruises past Sussex Central, 7-0 on the season

GEORGETOWN, Del.- With the 3-0 win over Sussex Central, the Dover Senators have won 21 straight sets this season. The win makes the Senators 7-0 on the year while the loss drops Central to 4-3.

It was all Senators early as they would take the first two sets over the Golden Knights. In the third set, Central showed they weren’t going down easy. Coming into this one 4-2 on the year, they would take a three point lead midway through the third set. Down 16-13, Dover would start to gain some momentum, taking a late 23-20 lead. After a Central ace, the Senators would close it out as Dover makes it 21 set victories in a row and move to 7-0 on the year.

The Senators will look to continue their hot streak when they travel to Bear to take on Caravel Academy next Monday at 6:15. The Golden Knights will try and get back in the win column when they host Lake Forest next Tuesday at 5:15.
