Dover convenience store robbery under investigation

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a robbery that took place at the 7-11 on N. DuPont Highway early Monday morning.

According to police, at around 5:30 a.m. a male suspect walked into the store and approached the clerk with a knife, demanding Newport cigarettes and Black and Mild Cigars. He then fled in an eastbound direction towards Jeffric Boulevard.
