The victim sustained physical injury from the incident and was treated and released from the hospital.
Detectives were able to identify the suspect as 22-year-old Enrico Giangiacomo and obtained a warrant for his arrest. At around 7:45 p.m. that same evening, Giangiacomo turned himself into Milford PD and was charged with second degree kidnapping, second degree assault, strangulation, and terroristic threatening. He was committed to the Department of Correction on $30,000 cash only bail and was issued a no contact order with the victim.
