Angello’s Scoops opens Downtown

SALISBURY, Md. – Downtown Salisbury now has a new spot for those with a sweet tooth.

Angello’s Scoops had their grand opening on Friday and they say that was the perfect time to open because of crowds from the Folk Festival.

The shop is owned by the same family that owned Angello’s Gifts downtown, but now they’ve moved locations and added something everyone can get behind: ice cream!

While the festival brought tons of customers, managers say they’re excited to see locals enjoying the shop, too.

“It has been pretty crazy, super busy, lines out the door all day long, it’s been fun because it’s been a lot of locals that are super excited to have an ice cream shop downtown and support us, local business is important,” Manager Kim Cjar said.

Managers at Angello’s Scoops also tell 47 ABC they’ll have some new flavor unveilings coming up, but to find out what they are, you’ll just have to stop in and taste them for yourself.
