$900,000 water infrastructure project completed in Milton

MILTON, Del. – In Milton, a project that will improve the community’s water infrastructure is finally complete. The nearly $900,000 project was introduced last year to build an additional water main near the new well and treatment facility in the area. The new water main will now help to improve water flow and prevent interruptions in residents’ water service who live in the Wagamon’s development. Neighbors tell 47 ABC that the additional water main is making a world of difference.

“We’ve been here 13 years and it’s been wonderful to see the growth and our needs being met with water towers and all of that. It was needed and they’ve taken care of it,” said resident Nina Martin.

The water main project was approved in July of 2018 after Milton held a town referendum.
