Worcester Co. Sheriff’s Deputies visit Berlin day care center to discuss safety tips

BERLIN, Md. – Two Worcester County Sheriff’s deputies visited a local day care center on Wednesday to help spread the word that you’re never too old to learn safety tips.

They visited the Berlin Education Station with their friend, the “safety pup”. Kids from ages one to five got the chance to ride in a police car and have play time with Safety pup.

We’re told they learned about fire and electrical safety and how to call 9-1-1 for emergencies only. Kids also got to read safety manuals to learn more on what they can do to keep themselves safe.
