Willards man convicted on drug distribution charges

SALISBURY, Md. – A Willards man was convicted earlier this week after he allegedly distributed cocaine as part of a murder for hire plot.

According to court documents, on November 7, 2017, Donald Tate Jr. delivered six ounces of cocaine in exchange for $7,200 to finance a murder for hire plot that resulted in the shooting of two people in Accomack County, VA.

Tate was convicted by a Wicomico County jury on Tuesday, and his sentencing is scheduled to take place next month.
