POLICE: Georgetown man arrested for robbery with a knife

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Georgetown Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a person at knifepoint on Sunday.

It happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Strawberry Alley in Georgetown. Police say the suspect approached a victim and demanded money while carrying a knife. Police say the suspect then hit the victim in the face and stabbed the victim in the arm with the knife. The suspect then took money from the victim and fled on foot.

The victim was treated on scene for non-life-threatening injuries. While officers continued the investigation, the suspect returned to the scene and was taken into custody without incident.

29-year-old Justin Holston of Georgetown was arrested for Robbery 1st degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During Commission of a Felony, and Aggravated Menacing.

Holston was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in Lieu of $126,000 secured bond.
