Peach Festival to kick off Saturday

BERLIN, Md. – If you don’t already have plans for Saturday, you may want to put the Peach Festival on your schedule.

The Festival kicks off at 11 a.m. at the Calvin B. Taylor House Museum, one of the most historical sites in the town.

There will be music, games, food, and, of course, tons of peaches.

Peach pie, peach ice cream, you name it.

But it’s not all about the juicy fruit. The day is really meant to showcase and celebrate Berlin’s history while bringing the community together.

“Come be a part of something that’s a great thing for the Berlin community,” Melissa Reid, with the museum, said. “It’s a great day, it’s free, the festival is free, and also really to come and enjoy this beautiful property that we have.”

During the festival visitors will also be able to go inside of the Calvin B. Taylor House and see the museum’s exhibits and additions.
