Pa. woman arrested on resisting arrest, disorderly conduct charges

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Rehoboth Beach Police arrested a Pennsylvania woman late Friday night on several charges including resisting arrest.

Just before 11 p.m., officers were in the area of 143 Rehoboth Avenue when they heard a woman begin to scream loudly. On contact with the woman, identified as 22-year-old Kiley Dippery, it was learned that she had become separated from her boyfriend. Officers then helped her back to her hotel room where she was reunited with her boyfriend.

A few minutes after leaving the hotel, officers were called back after Dippery began screaming loudly once again. Police say Dippery would not stop screaming and at that point had drawn the attention of several hotel guests.

Police placed Dippery under arrest, but had to assist her out of the hotel. She then reportedly became combative and kicked an officer in the leg while they were trying to put her in a patrol vehicle. Once she was in custody, Dippery vomited in the patrol vehicle and also vomited and urinated on the floor of the holding area at the Rehoboth Beach Police Department.

Dippery was charged with resisting arrest with force or violence, offensive touching of a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct – unreasonable noise, and disorderly conduct – creating a physically offensive condition which serves no purpose. She is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $3,200 secured bail.
