One dead after Harbeson crash

 

HARBESON, Del. – Police are investigating a crash that left a 79-year-old man dead.

The crash happened on Friday around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Beaver Dam Road and Indian Mission Road in Harbeson.

Police say it all happened when a Subaru Outback, driven by that 79-year-old, drove into an intersection into the path of a tractor trailer.

The 79-year-old was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead and a female passenger in his car was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Neither of their identities have been released.

The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to the hospital but then released with minor injuries.

Delaware State Police say this crash is still under investigation.
