Jeep Week kicks off in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. – It’s official, the Town of Ocean City has been taken over by a fleet of Jeeps!

Jeep Week kicked off on Thursday and this year, jeeple (standing for Jeep people), can take a trip to the Ronald E. Powell Convention Center to check out the fifty-plus vendors there. Those vendors are selling things like tires, lift kits and more. Also on display at the Convention Center is the Gladiator, Jeep’s first ever convertible pickup!

When it comes to fun outdoor activities, Jeep owners can take part in the morning beach crawl in Ocean City or they can tackle the obstacle courses located in both Ocean City and Pittsville. You don’t have to be an experienced off-roader to take part in the festivities.

Brad Hoffman, the Jeep Week Event Director said, “There’s not a better Jeep vacation than to drive your jeep on the beach over these mounds and sand hills its a blast…So whether you are just getting into it or you’re really versed in it, I always call this the ultimate Jeep vacation.”

Jeep Week will be wrapping up this Sunday.
