Funding goal reached for Bark Park

SALISBURY, Md. – Dog owners – listen up! Salisbury residents have officially raised enough money to move forward with plans for a new Bark Park.

The city announced that residents and donors reached their $5,000 goal on Facebook.

You may remember that SVN Miller Commercial Real Estate challenged residents to raise that money, and said if they did, the company would match it.

Now,with the $5,000 raised, Mayor Jake Day says they’re going to try to raise even more money to build the park.

“We’re asking people to keep following those links, keep donating, and all of that will help as we start construction here in just a few months,” Mayor Day said.

Anyone interested in donating can visit the City of Salisbury’s Facebook Page to find a link.
