Fruitland Police investigating thefts from vehicles

FRUITLAND, Md. – Fruitland Police are investigating several thefts from unlocked vehicles that happened early Thursday morning.

According to police, it is believed that the thefts took place between midnight and 2 a.m., in the area of Wye Oak Drive and St. Lukes Road. An individual entered several unsecured vehicles and stole items including money and electronics.

Surveillance footage obtained from private residences shows the suspect tied to these thefts. Video of the suspect can be found here.

Fruitland Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and to report any suspicious persons or activity immediately. They are also asking anyone with further information or who may be able to identify the suspect to contact the Fruitland Police Department, Corporal Arnold or the Duty Officer, at 410-548-2803.
