Del. State Police conducting death investigation in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Del. – Delaware State Police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found on the side of the road earlier this afternoon.
Police say they were called to Fleatown Road in Lincoln at around 12:15 p.m. for a victim that was found deceased on the side of the road. The victim’s identity is unknown at this time, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.
The investigation is in its early stages. More information will be released as it becomes available. Fleatown Road between E. Holly Drive and Clendaniel Pond Road remain temporarily closed at this time.
