Daniel Ulm Pleads Guilty to 1st Degree Assault

A Salisbury teenager is looking at five years behind bars after pleading guilty to first degree assault.

Nineteen year old Daniel Ulm pleaded guilty on Thursday on a hit and run case that lead to a car chase in late March.

Ulm appeared before a Wicomico County judge who sentenced him to 5 years with all but eighteen months suspended.

Ulm was arrested for fleeing from police and attempting to hit an officer with his car as a way to avoid arrest.

The incident occurred on March 22nd in the Pemberton Drive area and the chase ended at a dead-end road off Fitzwater Street.
