Unified Seaford hosting 2nd annual Praise in the Park

SEAFORD, Del. – A group called Unified Seaford is hosting the 2nd annual Praise in the Park, on Saturday, at Nutter Park.

There will be music, free food, activities for kids and agencies sharing resources within the community. Organizers say the event is open to everyone with the goal of bringing all kinds of people together. They tell 47 ABC that they hope the event will help create a positive atmosphere for a city that is rebounding from some tough times.

“It seems like we were the hub of trouble and so all of a sudden now we are coming back we are beginning to stand tall Seaford place to come,” says Pastor Isaac Ross with Unified Seaford.

“We just want the community to know that there’s resources out there and we work together we just want it to be a big day to show that Seaford is a strong community and we do things together stronger together,” says David Baugh with Unified Seaford.

Praise in the Park is happening from 2 to 6 p.m. at Nutter Park in Seaford.
