Two arrested following drug investigation in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested two men earlier this week in connection to the distribution of illegal drugs.

Police say the investigation in the matter of 39-year-old Robert Conklin of Millsboro wrapped up on Wednesday with the execution of a search warrant on his vehicle, which was determined to be his primary vehicle to aid in his drug distribution.

Investigation revealed that Conklin and a co-conspirator, 33-year-old Jonathan Bostick of Bridgeville, had conducted drug transactions in the Red Lion, New Castle County area.  Conklin and Bostick were located and taken into custody while traveling on SR 1, just south of the Dover Toll Plaza.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of approximately 59.15 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately 2,318.41 grams of marijuana, eleven 30 mg oxycodone pills, and nearly $3,000 in suspected drug money.

Both men were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 2, 4, and 5 quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and conspiracy second degree.

Conklin is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $162,500 cash only bond, and Bostick is being held on $33,000 secured bond.
