UPDATE: Tow truck stolen from Fruitland towing company
UPDATE: FRUITLAND, Md. – According to the Fruitland Police Department the tow truck was found and recovered last night in Tasley, Virginia unoccupied, in good condition, and with the keys still in the vehicle. Police are still trying to identify the suspect or suspects responsible.

FRUITLAND, Md. – Fruitland Police are investigating after a tow truck was reportedly stolen during the early morning hours on Sunday.
According to officials, the truck was stolen from the front lot of Crossroads Towing, located at 745 S. Camden Avenue in Fruitland, between the hours of 1 a.m. and 8 a.m.
The truck is described as a white 1993 International, 4600 series tow truck with Crossroads Towing logos and MD registration 15323TT.
Police are asking anyone that may have surveillance video in that area, or who may have witnessed anything or anyone suspicious to call the Fruitland Police Department at 410-548-2803.
