Thunder sign Delaware native Pens Jr.

HARRINGTON, DE- The First State’s newest professional team, the Delaware Thunder, bolstered their roster on Monday afternoon with the signing of Delaware native Charlie Pens Jr.

The organization held a presser announcing the signing of the 31-year old out of Newark. Pens has FHL experience, spending last year with the Danville Dashers before injury. Pens is the son of Thunder President and GM Charlie Pens Sr.

Since making the announcement of bringing an expansion team to Delaware on May 29th, the Thunder has signed over 10 players to their roster, and plan to have a free agent camp at in Exton, PA on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, 2019. The official FHL season begins in October.
