Magnolia man arrested following investigation into suspicious vehicle

MILFORD, Del. – A Magnolia man was arrested Thursday night after an investigation into possible prostitution led to the discovery of drugs and a firearm.

Just after 10:30 p.m., officers from the Milford Police Department responded to the 200 block of Charles Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle. On arrival, officers made contact with 24-year-old Jamel Littlepage, and observations made during initial contact led to further investigation including use of a police K-9.

A search of the vehicle led police to seize five cell phones, drug paraphernalia, THC gummy candy, pills, 116 grams of marijuana, 12 grams of psilocybin mushroom, a ski mask, cash, and a handgun.

Littlepage was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, five counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of drug paraphernalia, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $46,250 secured bail.
