DSP investigating series of armed robberies at local convenience store

CAMDEN-WYOMING, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating three armed robberies that happened during the month of June at the Shore Stop on South State Street in Dover.

The first incident happened shortly before 11 p.m. on June 10th, when an unknown male suspect entered the business armed with a large knife, demanding money from the clerk. The suspect obtained an unknown amount of cash and fled the business.

At around 11:30 p.m. on June 25th, and again at around 11:45 p.m. on June 29th, a similar incident took place. An unknown male entered armed with a large knife, obtained an unknown amount of cash, and fled the business.

The suspect is believed to be approximately 5’5″ to 5’9″, 18 to 25 years old, weighing 125 to 160 pounds, with a medium build. No video surveillance photos are available at this time.
