Culver to host town hall meetings
SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County executive Bob Culver is giving residents a chance to voice their concerns with a series of town halls.
Culver says that with all of the changes coming to Salisbury, it’s sometimes hard for officials to understand what residents are thinking. And since council meetings are held during the daytime, it’s hard for residents to attend.
To fix that problem, Culver and other officials will host a series of Town Hall meetings open to the public where residents can voice any concern they have.
“A lot of people have a lot of concerns, and we want to get out and hear what their concerns are,” Culver said. “We’ve got a lot of things going between Pirate’s Wharf, the airport, school building, that type of thing, but we want to get out and find out what’s on people’s minds.”
The first town hall meeting will be held on July 11 at 6:00 p.m. at the Civic Center.
