Celebrity action at Delaware State Fair Hollywood Racing Pigs

HARRINGTON, Del. – For people who are planning on attending the fair this week, they may cross paths with some Hollywood stars while they are out there.

Of course, we are referring to the Hollywood Racing Pigs.

The Delaware State Fair gives people a chance to watch pigs like Britney Spare-Ribs and Sir Pork-A-Lot race against each other.

Organizers say this event provides some simple entertainment to fair-goers. Pigs will just run around while getting some praise from spectators.

Onlookers will get a chance to learn about the different species of pigs and win a prize.

Organizers add that this event plays an important role at the fair.

“Racing pigs is part of the circus Hollywood attractions, so they’ve brought to us an attraction that they’ve trained pigs to race in various fun elements,” said the Delaware State Fair Assistant General Manager, Danny Aguilar.

This event is free and they will have a couple of shows throughout the day each day. One of the shows was cancelled on Sunday due to excessive heat outside.
