Five New Businesses Added to the Downtown Area
DOVER, Del.- The unlock the block initiative is paying off with five new businesses opening in the downtown area of Dover.
The Downtown Dover Partnership says the more shops opening and keeping money in the hands of the community gives people a sense of being.
The incentives given for the new businesses will now enter it’s second phase to improve upon the downtown area by filling those missing teeth on the blocks
“This next round we’re getting ready to do is going to focus on people looking to expand upon their business,” Tina Bradbury, the operations manager for the Downtown Dover Partnership said. “So if they’re already operating in another town they’ll get the opportunity to come in, be in a new area and they’ll have a second location or a third.”
Shoppers can now find more unique businesses to visit that can range from vintage clothes or maybe treat that sweet tooth.
The newest businesses include Sweets & Treats, Tina’s Timeless Threads, Sold Out Sneakers, That Ish Boutique and the now expanded Wedding Boutique.
