Two men arrested on drug charges in Easton
EASTON, Md. – Two men are behind bars tonight after Easton Police say an investigation into drug activity began after several neighbors tipped off police.
Police say those neighbors were concerned about activity happening on the 100 block of Port Street. After investigating during the month of June, police served a warrant on June 28. Police say they discovered suspected crack cocaine and various drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, 54-year-old Willie James Curry of Easton, and 30-year-old Nicholas Lee Elzey of Cambridge were both arrested and charged with CDS Possession Not Marijuana. Both are being held at the Talbot County Detention Center.
