Shorebirds take series opener vs. BlueClaws

Shorebirds top BlueClaws

SALISBURY, Md. – The Delmarva Shorebirds opened a three-game home series with the Lakewood BlueClaws on Monday night. The Shorebirds would take an early 2-0 lead but the BlueClaws battled back to tie things 2-2.

Cadyn Grenier tallied the game winning hit for Delmarva in the bottom half of the ninth inning.

Game two will get underway on Tuesday night.
