Salisbury University announces $75 million funding campaign

SALISBURY, Md. – College officials have just launched their $75,000,000 campaign for Salisbury University. Officials say this initiative is the largest in campaign history. University officials say the last campaign the school had was for $35,000,000 and ended back in 2011. Now, the money raised for that campaign went towards capital improvement projects which included upgrades to the university’s library and building a brand new stadium. But officials say the money raised for this campaign will be an investment in the people, and will ensure a stable and long enduring growth throughout the university.

“This campaign is really an investment in people, student scholarships, faculty investments through professorships and endowed chairs, research. It helps out with scholarships, it helps keep the college accessible and affordable, and so it’s really just a long term investment in the health of the institution and so they’re critical,” said Vice President for Advancement, and the Executive Director of the SU foundation, Jason Curtin.

University officials add that if you are interested in donating to the campaign to help them meet their goal, you can visit the We Are SU Campaign website here.
