UPDATE: Police apprehend suspect in Rehoboth boardwalk stabbing
6/5 UPDATE: Rehoboth Beach Police have charged a Milton man in connection to the stabbing incident that occurred on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk on June 1st.
Through investigation and tips received, 23-year-old Marques Gantt was identified as the suspect in the incident. Police obtained warrants for his arrest and located him in a hotel room at the Rodeway Inn & Suites in Rehoboth Beach.
Gantt was charged with first degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and misdemeanor terroristic threatening. He is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $157,500 secured bail.
Police say all other parties from the incident have been identified, and no other charges are being filed at this time.

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Police in Rehoboth Beach are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a stabbing that left an 18-year-old injured.
Police say the stabbing happened on the Boardwalk around Wilmington Avenue just after 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim on the left side of his body after a verbal altercation. The suspect and three accomplices fled the scene.
The man police are looking for was described as a black male wearing a gray New Balance sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a backpack, and dark colored athletic shoes.
