UPDATE: Suspect arrested in Dover nightclub shooting

6/7 UPDATE: Dover Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the June 2nd shooting at the Allure Nightclub in Dover.

35-year-old Naquan Ingram was identified as a suspect through surveillance video obtained from the area that the shooting took place. Ingram was arrested at the Dover Probation and Parole office and charged with first degree assault, reckless endangering first degree, carry concealed deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and illegal gang participation.

Ingram is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $174,000 cash bond.

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are searching for whoever is responsible for shooting a man at Allure Nightclub, early Sunday morning.

Officers say a 38-year-old man was brought to a hospital emergency room, around 2 a.m., with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. They learned that he was leaving Allure, on 865 N. DuPont Highway, when he saw people arguing and heard gunfire. The victim’s injuries are non-life threatening.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
