Milford man arrested on burglary and other charges following pair of investigations

MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police arrested a man last week in connection to two separate investigations in Milford.

In this incident, it was alleged that 45-year-old Kofi Fowler stole money from a wallet inside a residence in the 600 block of Northwest Front Street. He was arrested on June 17th and charged with theft under $1500, and was ordered $500 unsecured bail as well as a no contact order with the victim.

A few days later, on June 20th, police launched a second investigation after learning that Fowler had allegedly contacted the victim at a residence in the 600 block of Northwest Front Street to try to persuade them to not follow through with prosecution in the theft case. Police say that Fowler forced his way into the residence in this incident.

A warrant was obtained for his arrest, and he was arrested two days later on tampering with a witness, offensive touching, breach of release, third degree burglary, and harassment charges. Fowler was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing next month.
