19-Year-Old Stabs Ex-Boyfriend: Police

ELLENDALE, Del. – A 19-year-old woman is behind bars after police say she stabbed her ex-boyfriend, and the father of her son, after a fight.

Police say Salena Timmons stabbed the victim, a 26-year-old male, as he was dropping their 2-month-old son off on Friday night just before 7:00 p.m. Police say as the victim was dropping the child off on Piney Branch Road, a verbal fight ensued between Timmons and the victim. Timmons allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife from inside the residence and stabbed the victim in the back of his shoulder blade. He refused to be transported to a nearby hospital.

Timmons was arrested and charged with Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Course of a Felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Assault 2nd degree. She was held on $71,000 bond.
