Woodland Ferry to remain closed until summer

SEAFORD, Del. – The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announced on Tuesday that the Woodland Ferry will remain out of service until this summer.

According to officials with DelDOT, this extended closure is so that necessary additional repairs can be made.

DelDOT stated that they understand how much of an inconvenience this is to residents, and that the end goal is to have the ferry run safely without further interruption for the next five years.
