Two Millsboro men arrested following drug distribution investigation

MILLSBORO/REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Delaware State Police say a month long investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs wrapped up on Thursday, resulting in two arrests.

The investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine revealed that 55-year-old Daniel Tozzolo and 45-year-old Roger Jones were storing and distributing the drug from their residence in the 34000 block of Morning Side Drive in Millsboro. It was also learned that Tozzolo was renting a room at the American Inn and Suites on Airport Road in Rehoboth for the purpose of distributing methamphetamine.

Officials obtained and executed a search and seizure warrant at both locations, and as a result seized 38.89 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 9.22 grams of marijuana, 63 various prescription pills, multiple drug paraphernalia items, and more than $700 in suspected drug money.

Tozzolo is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $72,500 cash only bond on charges of possession of a controlled substance in a tier 5 quantity, two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a drug property, conspiracy second degree, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jones is also being held at the Sussex Correctional Instition on $15,400 secured bond on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a drug property, conspiracy second degree, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
