Town of Pittsville to hold special town meeting May 16th

PITTSVILLE, Md. – The Town of Pittsville has announced that they will hold a special town meeting next Thursday, May 16th, in light of the recent water issue.

The meeting will be held at Town Hall beginning at 6 p.m. The Town Manager, Town Engineer, and other staff members will be present to report on the issue. Interested residents are encouraged to attend to hear comments and progress being made.

In addition, the town is also offering free bottled water for town residents beginning tomorrow, May 10th. Residents can pick up bottled water from town hall between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, at the Ayres United Methodist Church between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, and again at town hall between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday.
