Three companies respond to Lincoln trailer fire

LINCOLN, Del. – It’s been a busy memorial day weekend for the Ellendale fire company as they responded to their third blaze this weekend. These photos were taken by the Ellendale fire company. They say a double wide trailer on Staytonville road, was reduced to mostly ashes early Monday morning.  Fire fighters say most of the trailer had already collapsed when they arrived on scene. Fortunately, it was a vacant trailer so no one was hurt. The Ellendale fire company, Greenwood fire company, and Carlisle fire company all responded. Ellendale FD says Despite the size of the fire, one bedroom did remain in tact thanks to a closed door.
