Snow Hill Town Manager announces retirement

SNOW HILL, Md. – Snow Hill Town Manager Kelly Pruitt has officially announced her retirement, effective May 31, 2019.

Pruitt plans to take a private sector position after more than 30 years in the public sector. She says she is looking forward to spending more time with her family and traveling.

Pruitt began working with the Town of Snow Hill in 1988, and was appointed to Town Manager on November 14, 2000.

The town plans to begin advertising to fill the position next week, with plans to choose a successful candidate after being sworn in at the June town meeting.

Mayor Stephen Mathews stated that the town and Council appreciated Pruitt’s service to the community and want to wish her the best in her new job.
