Salisbury women’s lacrosse advances to regional final, soars past Colorado College

SALISBURY, Md.- Behind a 7-1 run to start the game, Salisbury women’s lacrosse defeated Colorado College 18-8 advancing to the regional final. The Gulls will host Amherst tomorrow in the next round.

A sloppy start for the gulls, four turnovers in the first five minutes but SU would eventually take a one goal lead off a Courtney Fegan free position. Salisbury ended the half on a 13-4 run behind a Gabby Mongno hat trick and two from Lydia McNulty.

Colorado would climb within seven in the second half but thats as close as it would get. The Gulls closed the door in the second taking the ten goal lead on a Lydia McNulty unassisted goal as they advance to the regional finals against Amherst.
