Rehoboth Beach Police attempt to identify theft suspect

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Rehoboth Beach Police are working to identify a man who is suspected of stealing a woman’s purse and jewelry from a local bar.

According to police, the incident happened just before 10 p.m. on May 1st, at a bar located in the first block of Rehoboth Avenue. The above photos are taken from surveillance footage and police say the suspect appears to be a larger framed, middle aged man wearing a white shirt.

Officials learned that the suspect’s name may be Christopher Rhodes, but no further identifying information is available at this time.

Police are asking anyone who may have information on the identity and/or location of the pictured suspect to contact Cpl.
