Over 62,000 pounds of beef recalled due to possible E. coli contamination
WASHINGTON – Those planning Memorial Day cookouts may want to check their beef products before starting up that grill.
Aurora Packing Company, Inc., announced on Wednesday that they are recalling approximately 62,112 pounds of raw beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli.
According to the release, the raw beef products were packaged on April 19, 2019. The products subject to recall contain establishment number “EST. 788” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
So far there have not been any reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone who may have these products in their freezers should not consume them and either throw them away or return to the place of purchase.
