Magnolia shooting leaves one man injured

MAGNOLIA, Del. —  Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that took place Sunday evening.

Police say that the shooting happened just before 11 p.m.  on the 500 block of Millchop Lane, in Magnolia. Officers say they found a 38-year-old man inside the  kitchen of the home with an apparent gunshot wound.

Further investigation shows that the bullet was shot from outside, going through the kitchen wall and cabinet.  Several bullet holes were also seen on the other side of the home.

Police say that the suspects are still at large and that a dark colored vehicle, with three men inside was seen fleeing the area.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.  There were seven other family members inside the home, all of whom did not have any injuries.
