Locals hosting fundraiser for Sussex Co. tornado victims

LAUREL, Del. – The Laurel American Legion Post 19 is hosting a fundraiser on Friday night to benefit victims of April’s EF2 tornado.

The Laurel Pride Benefit Tornado Relief fundraiser is happening from 5 to 9 p.m. on May 3rd at the American Legion on 12168 Laurel Road. Organizers say tickets are $20 each and can be purchased in advance or at the door. There will be a 50-50 drawing, appetizers by “My Turn to Cook,” a dance and a silent auction. Sky Brady will be providing music.
