Election Day: Snow Hill residents choosing new mayor, two councilmembers

SNOW HILL, Md. – Voters are heading to the polls on Tuesday, in Worcester County, to elect a mayor and two district council positions in Snow Hill.

The polling location at the Train Station on Belt Street is open until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7.

Candidates running for mayor are Gary Weber, Richard Thompson and Catherine Freeman. The three candidates for Central District Council are Incumbent Jenny Hall, Richard Mitchell and Melisa Weidner. Meanwhile, Mark Nixon is challenging Incumbent LaToya Purnell to represent the Western District on the Town’s Council.
