Dover Police offering reward after stray bullets hit home, vehicle following party
DOVER, Del. – Shots rang out following a party in Dover Sunday morning, striking a residence and a nearby vehicle, and police are looking for the public’s help identifying who pulled the trigger.
Dover Police say the incident occurred in the area of Courtside Drive, at approximately 1:48 AM. They say several shots were fired following a party, with one round entering a residence, striking a bathroom door, and another round hitting an unoccupied vehicle. No injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
